Blue Sky Firefly is an Americana project built around rich vocal harmony, expressive musicianship, and a deep connection to song.
Led by singer-songwriter Patrick Noel Russ, the project features a rotating cast of collaborators—allowing the sound to expand and adapt while maintaining a clear and cohesive musical identity. Regular collaborators include Leanne Phillips (keys, vocals), Alison Peltier (fiddle), David Carter (keys, vocals, accordion), and Tomas Enguidanos (dobro, pedal steel, vocals).
Blending original songwriting with a diverse selection of classic and modern covers, the repertoire spans artists like Johnny Cash, Fleetwood Mac, Van Morrison, The Beatles, Dolly Parton, and Bill Withers—alongside a growing catalog of original music. Performances move naturally between intimate and energetic, anchored by strong harmonies, musical feel, and a connection with the audience.
